Poeta Cool emulates cool-toned highlights, brighter colors and a soft, airy image with minimal contrast. Inspired by magenta, cream film stocks and radiant bright skies.
This LUT is perfect as a starting base to cool down any scene captured originally with too much warmth. It provides creamier skin tones while also keeping the scene as genuine as it was in real life.
We personally use this LUT for all settings with Tungsten lighting to help us achieve a more natural finish.

We use this LUT to enhance films with intense and emotion-provoking vows and sunsets that make your jaw drop.

Poeta BW-2 is a gentler form of BW-1 with subtle contrast and moodier exposure.
The undertones of this black and white lean on the warmer side to draw out a genuine film-like appearance.
It refines how we see Black and White films through soft highlights and shadow depth.

Hi, I'm Alesia!
I'm a wedding filmmaker based out of Portland, Oregon. I grew up in the Pacific North West and was immediately thrown into gorgeous outdoor venues from rocky coastlines, lush green rainforests and red rock deserts.
After trying so many LUTS and tweaking them heavily towards a certain style, I finally worked together with a team of color-specialists to create something of my own.
It's been a beautiful journey studying color theory and how it ties to my super 8mm nostalgic brand of capturing wedding memories.
I wanted these LUTS to be where simplicity meets refined. Where old meets new. Where colors make you feel drawn to the story, the music, the movement; to ultimately enhance the feeling we're trying to achieve.

I know what you need, friend
You film in 4k, 4:2:2 10-bit or higher, LOG or a similar flat profile and understand the importantance of converting from LOG to Rec709.
You understand film stock color theory and NEED that as part of your brand (aka soft blue highlights, bright greens, pink skin tones and moody golden hour colors right? We got you).
You want a LUT that gets you 80% of the way there so you can still make your own adjustments (because no LUT should ever claim they're a one size fits all!)

You already own a Converstion LUT and understand how to correct LOG footage
You understand that basic color correction must be applied to EVERY clip, and that a creative LUT isn't a fix-all.
You edit in a video editing program that doesn't accept .cube files

Will this LUT work for my software?
If your editing software accepts .cube files, then you should be good to go.
Common softwares include Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.

You'll receive a Zip file that includes 5 LUTS in .cube files, private access to a color grading workflow in Final Cut Pro, as well as a complimentary folder of conversion LUTS for the following camera profiles: SONY, CANON, BLACKMAGIC, PANASONIC, DJI, FUGI AND RED.

Depending on your software, downloading a .cube file is like any other LUT. Please utilize online resources like Youtube and step by step articles for help. We can only point you in the right direction and will not answer any emails or DM's with questions on how to color grade your footage or solve I.T. problems with your computer.
